As a Regional Group we invest in our 3 Catchment-Landcare
groups-key partners who work closely with our
community as members of the Regional Bodys team.These groups and
their members are indispensable to the delivery of this region's
Regional Investment Strategy.
Our 3 Catchment & Landcare Coordinators - Saskia von
Fahland, Jane Eales and Christine Peterson - directly manage the
interface between the community, our group and government. Many of
our community awareness and engagement activities are implemented
through these community-based groups.
Catchment & Landcare
Groups are key to the delivery of sustainable agriculture,
biodiversity and waterways management outcomes through their direct
relationships with volunteers and landholders. The success of our
Sustainable Landscapes and our Healthy Waterways
water quality initiatives demonstrates the benefits of these
well-maintained relationships.
